For Melvin Lewis Thomas, the process of education never ends. His college education molded him as a scientist with things as his subjects. Working at medical and human research laboratories, and as a teacher, shifted his focus to people. He became a metascientist and life became his focus, with reality his laboratory. Along the way he changed jobs and even careers when what he was doing was no longer of interest. He grasped it, then moved on. |
