Nice interface - wide range of search engines - local language chooser

I tried using Kartoo a little over a year ago. It is extremely cool, but i found it a bit confusing/overwhelming. I'm sure that once you're accustomed to its interface that it's very easy and effective. Just never took the time to get there myself.

I had a similar experience. It definitely is fun and unique, but the reality is that most of the time when you're doing a search you're not looking for fun and unique, you're looking for quick and simple. I still play with it from time to time though.
