"Southern Hemisphere tropics have been getting wetter as maximum summer solar heating shifts southward" We are experiencing the wettest summer ever with flooding in several places. January/February are usually our hottest months but we have only had 12 days of sun and the farmers are anxious because the crops are not growing. And last winter was the mildest I've ever experienced - on occasions even swimming at midnight because it was so hot. Something odd is afoot in the southern hemisphere. We've just experienced our coldest winter. |
