Interesting read- i never used this videos to help with language devp. i used them more as a break for me, and as a stimulating activity for my daughter. i thought the colors and movement were keeping her attention-- i didn't think she'd learn to speak faster from them-- however, interestingly, this article is saying it does the opposite.

Ever since I saw my first Baby Einstein video, I was a little suspicious about their claims to benefit young children. In a way I'm surprised people bought into this idea for so long.
