wildcat says: a seriously recommended read, worthwhile what if there are two worlds ... one that can be measured (by science) ... and ... one that can not be measured there have been many ways used to describe this ... male, solid, material, science, logic, 1+1=2 = measurable female, fluid, feeling, intuition, 2 (1+1, 0+2, 2-0 ...) = 'felt' 'knowing' we 'know' what love is - but can we measure it ? the poet uses a difference approach - one of painting pictures with words - of creating a landscape, a place where we to can 'experience' it if we are finite, linear ... and 'god' is infinite, omnipresent (being in all places and all times and therefore non-linear) ... maybe this is why science has difficultly measuring that which cannot (by its very nature) be measured ?! |
