enbar says: This is one of the better "go-kit" lists I've found. I live ten minutes downwind of a major nuclear plant, so I need something like this. Download the PDF at http://snipurl.com/1845p. Other useful links: Great cip. Be prepared. Personally, I have grab and go kits in my car. I also have 72 hour kits in my basement. Along with much more sophisticated plans for myself and my family. I know it sounds freaky, but at little expense and planning, you can prepare your loved ones for a worst case scenario like a hurricane, tornados, terrorism, national or weather emergency. Indeed. I've heard these called "bug-out-kits", and I've been meaning to put 2 together for Sara and I for ages. I got some of the "shaker" type waterproof flashlights, but I'm ashamed to admit that we don't even have a first aid kit in the house at the moment. Thank you enbar for the PDF download and all the links. An excellent clip. highly useful clip: thanks. |
