It doesn't need a duplicate clip feature. Clips are the collection of the clipper not the commenter or the popper.
It just strengthens the validity of the subject that is clipped. When something is clipworthy it gets clipped.
I only share my clips because I want to. I don't have to.

If I was worried about people reclipping I would have issue with about 80% of the clips that are clipped.
