A Canadian who expresses what many in America believe.

After eight years of Bush maybe he does have something to apologize for.

Sorry, you feel that way. I still love oyur country and still don't think we are headed in the right direction. I thought this guy was for moving forward- a better day etc.... Now that he's been in office I am beginning to think he is a big mistake. I don't believe we are going to see the Great Obama Years. I think its' going to be crash and burn. I am sorry that you don't some how feel he is talking about YOU, thats' right WE are America.

He shouldn't be apologizing for any previous Presidents' decisions. He should be focusing on his own policies and goals...which seem to be dragging us down. While it might still make some (& Mr. Obama) feel better to blame the past Administration for everything wrong in the world, he's the Leader now (shudder) so he needs to shut up and do what is best for the USA. Agreeing with our enemies that we're horrible, imperialistic tyrants won't win him any friends or allies. It makes him look dumb.

So telling the truth makes you look weak and that is the ultimate sin, eh?

I think it makes you look strong, willing to accept what is wrong and that is the first step to fixing it. Only cowards hide from the truth.
