ratilfar says: The cowards are those who refuse to see it because it clashes with their vision of a perfect Lilly White America. Here is some more truth for ya! ""And I said, 'this is my house my car, my son, my nephew. It's not stolen,'" said Bobby Tolan. The Tolans then say that Sgt. Cotton pushed Mrs. Tolan against the garage door. At that point, Robbie reared up off the ground and said: "Get your fucking hands off my mom!" Sgt. Cotton then turned and fired his gun hitting Robbie Tolan in the chest. "The guy never said a word," said Marian Tolan. "He never said, 'shut up,' he never said 'get down' or 'stay down.' He never said a word, he picked his gun, he took his gun and he just shot him." I hope the police officer was charged with murder. Attempted murder. The kid survived, but his baseball career may be ruined. I can only imagine the terror of that night. I never thought it was possible but we have racist city police here to. I think they need a lot more than just a slap on the wrist and a sensitivety course. Not all police officers are like that. I met my share of polite and helpful ones. But officers like the ones in the clip exists and the tend to be part of a surviving trend, not just isolated incidents. That is, once a police department gets infected with such attitudes they are hard to remove. And this clip is also my answer to those calling Holder a coward and a racist because he dared to speak the truth about race and therefore shows them for the cowards they really are. A few of these are well represented here on Clipmarks. |
