A vapid (by the Right, not Letterman) attempt to compare Obama to Bush, which I guess is meant to elevate Bush by bringing Obama down to his intellectual level.

I think that is the thinking behind it. Sounds more like Michael Steele kind of thinking if you ask me.

Not to mention the fact that the guy takes questions live, in front of the whole world. How carefully GWB's staff screened the questions - and even the loyalty of attendees - that came to him in town hall meetings!
