Mohir says: I am ready I remember when I bought my first computer. It had a 160MB hard drive standard, and I couldn't imagine what I would do with all of that space. 500TB? That ought to last me until I'm dead and cold. My first computer didn't even have a hard drive, it was being operated by floppy discs. On the other hand, count me out for any kind of iPod thingies. I dislike such tiny gizmos. The smallest "mobile computer" could be a 10" notebook for me. I'll never use such cell-phone-looking-compy-toys like iPod or Blackberry. I'm very conservative on this. Well, actually, my very first computer was a VIC 20 with a cassette tape drive, but that's a whole different kettle of fish. If you were to own an iPod Touch for a week, Invictus, you'd never let it out of your sight. After all, wouldn't you like to read Clipmarks at lunch where there's a hot-spot? Don't think of it as a computer, but the most highly portable reader and you'll never look back. I too held off on buying such devices for a long long time. Then I finally broke down and bought an iPod touch so that I could test clipmarks on it and I think it may be my favorite piece of technology that I own. Invictus, I would bet that you too would love it if you were to get one. Hmm... OK guys, it seems I gotta give it a try. But there is still one problem: my hypermetropia. |
