it gets worse. I upgraded a client's computer to IE7, although after doing so I don't think 'upgrade' is the right word. They're running an Access-based app on their LAN. Well, after upgrading the browser, which has NOTHING to do with this app - they couldn't access the app. The error messages indicated that they no longer have access to their own LAN, if you can believe this. Anyway, quick uninstall of IE7 put things back to normal. Just incredible how they can't seem to learn how not to irritate the very people that support them. Yep. IE7, as well as Microsoft Geniune, is all a load of shit. :\ I avoid both like the plague. |
