How much are new beads? Or are they re-usable? If so, how you wash dirty-sucking beads clean before they suck the dirt back up? How many loads of wash can one batch of beads clean? How many beads per wash? Or do you add them by weight?

This is way too complicated....

Smelly hippies may still well object to using plastic polymers to clean their clothes. We need to know how environmentally sensitive those beads are before we throwout the bathwater with the baby.
