A few years ago two Egyptian tortoises - babies , but a little bigger than this one - had been stolen from the Bronx Zoo. They were returned to the zoo by a guy who said that he bought them from a couple of teenagers. Only in New York.

It's too cute. I have a strange affection for things that are smaller than they should be....miniature golf, M&M's minis, babies, puppies, those little ice pellets they give you at Sonic, mini skirts, fun size candy bars....
