I don't think so. Ahmedinejad doesn't speak for Iran - he's not the Commander-in-Chief; and the real heavies have shown no interest in starting wars with anybody for over a hundred years.

This is a problem that made me suspicious of the Bush claims about Iraq having such a weapon - they had no delivery system, without which the bomb is useless.
Finally, seems to me al Qaeda would have a much easier time coming up with a nuke in Pakistan, where they can easily blend in, than in non-Arab Iran.

Iran can be negotiated with - though the US has a really crappy, self-serving record toward Iran, and it will take quite a bit for them to trust us.
