I wouldn't be surprised if we're biologically all quite similar, but that social pressures make it more acceptable for a woman to admit being attracted to another woman (witness the number of "straight" woment attracted to Angelina Jolie for example) than it is for a man to admit attraction to another man.

Do you think that the men in the survey were ashamed to admit their feelings ericskiff? It's also quite a common fantasy for 'straight' women to be attracted to women in a sexual manner, but it's different when they act on their impulses instead of just fantasizing.

I am a man. A very old and dirty man. I have a full length mirror in my bedroom. I sleep naked. Before I go to bed, I check my body for ticks. I live in the woods of Wisconsin. Just one of the many fun facts about living in Wisconsin.

And when I gaze in the mirror at my body. I always wonder. WHO THE HELL WOULD WANT TO SEE THIS!

A womans body is smooth and the hair is where it should be. The curves are gentle and almost artistic in design.

A man has hair in places you don't even want to talk about. Some of those hairs grow to incredible length.
And they are always where you cant get to them. Right on your back. I guess we are related to the silver backed apes. Then there are the dangling ...

Usually, men do not give things enough thought, besides if and when they have sexual attraction to other men, they would not admit it to themselves, let alone admitting it to others in a survey. If sexual attraction between men is as low as the survey indicates, why is there excessive sex in men's prisons? That in itself proves that men have sexual attraction to their own sex but admit their attraction and act on it only when it is convenient and necessary.

It would be interesting if there were a way to measure the effects of cultural trends on the bisexual urges of men and women.

In so much of the world the female body is displayed provocatively everywhere you look -- used to sell, used as art, used to grab attention, used to titillate, etc. Yes - male bodies are displayed too but to a much lesser degree.

Isn't it logical that when bombarded with sexual innuendo a significant portion of the population will respond? It's only the women whose response is considered apart from the norm.

that 0.3% of men were attracted to their own sex; 8% of the women
surveyed were attracted to other women. In an interview with the London
