The Sherwood Forrest visitor Centre is the place to go if you want to do the Robin Hood experience as a tourist. The real place to soak up the legend is of course in literature and film, but Sherwood Forrest Visitor Centre is none the less worth the trip, and is of course great for the kids to mess about with yet more swords and bows and arrows. On our trip to the Sherwood forrest Visitor Centre, the weather was a little bleak, but the scenery was impressive.
