Cyberspace is the last bastion of free speech and source for non-corporate news and information we have. It's also a thorn in the eye of those who would like to control everything we read and everything we say. All under the guise of "national security". How much do you wanna bet, that these current so-called "cyber attacks" are false flag operations? I'll eat my hat, if they ain't.
we’d all be better off if the internet was never invented
We? Who we? I know who'd be better off and it sure ain't the little people.

This month's 5Across video roundtable focused on free speech online in various countries, from Iran to China to Kenya -- and even a mention of the U.S. government's attempts at curtailing speech online over the years.

Right you are TN, I'll bet these people believe 'we' would be better off if we never learned to read or write, then they would be in a better position to 'guide' us through life helping to keep us as happy, docile, little idiots.

I don't think they'd be able to take the internet away now. Even I'd be lost without it. It has become to much a part of peoples lives.

Goodbye FREEDOM of Speech.....Just another
freedom being considered to deprive us of our rights.
The pen has always been mightier than the sword, and the ELITE don't like it. They would prefer to control an ignorant, zombie like community, with "the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing"
philosophy. This was probably on the agenda at Bildeberg three or four years ago. The power of the internet scares them. and it SHOULD!

They create a need by scaring people, and then we
willingly let them take our rights.........on false grounds.........until when we realize what they are doing.............it is too late.!!!

In my opinion they just want us to be pawns to do and be exactly what they say and want. They want us to continue to support what they want and say it is for our best as we are not capable of taking care of ourselves. They misappropriate our tax money and they just dig their hands deeper in our pockets so they can continue. The internet as I see it allows us - "WE THE PEOPLE" to at least see and evaluate other peoples ideas and opinions.

it is for our best as we are not capable of taking care of ourselves.
This is also the excuse used to intervene in the economies and governments of so called "third world", "backward" or "developing" nations. Basically, any nation that rejects capitalism and the not-so-free market.

Who were partners in crime regarding the pre-emptive war in Iraq? Who pushed the "war on terror" down our collective throats? Who are the ones, who are pushing so desperately for total control of the world's citizenry? Who would be interested in controlling the internet, too? "Big Brother" UK and the "l've lost my way" US? Here's an update to this clip:

These "New World Order" guys are so predictable.

I don't know. Not in the long run, I reckon. They have military might, GMO's, man-made viruses, all the money in the world, they control governments, the media, the banks, they adhere to no rule of law and a host of other things we have no way of defending ourselves against. Too many people seem oblivious too, or to just not care. As long as most of the world is unaware or unmoved, I really don't think we stand a chance...I don't know.

All I know is this:

"I would rather die standing, than live a life on my knees."

Knowledge is power. All we can do is to keep trying to spread it. And just hope good will win over evil, in the end.

"I would rather die standing, than live a life on my knees."
My motto as well. Unfortunately, alot of us will do just that, die standing. Many have already. Better to die as a human than as an animal who lives with compromise.
