I began researching the Ark of the Covenant in 1992.

My search recently led me to a cave in Egypt's Western desert. Apparently, the ark was stolen about the same time as it was first placed in Solomon's Temple and was being taken to the wealthy Governor of the Bahrian Oasis which is south west of Cairo.

Apparently he was collecting treasures. He was also the High Priest of Egypt and was in powere around 1000BCE. That was when the ark disappeared!

I have just completed a 400 page manuscript for publication which mentions the role of the ark once it is found and much more. The book will be called "Arkquest"

However whenever a gold box is discovered that resembles the description written in the Exodus then it would have to be authenticated.
The most likely method would be to have the wood radio carbon dated to determine when the tree was cut down.

If the Ethiopians claim they have the ark then would they have that test performed?

If it coincides to the date of the Exodus then that would give it some authenticity as being the real ark. Anything later would be a copy.

People have been looking for the Ark since the day it disappeared. Many searched the scriptures looking for clues but so far no one has discovered it or even an ancient copy nor have they mentioned what to do with it once it is found.

However even an ancient copy is discovered it would give us a better idea of what the original had looked like. I have my own theory.
