Deserting the Troops

And if you believe this administration cares for "the troops" you don't know your up from your down!

ratilfar, do you think there are many people out there who still believe the administration cares about the troops?
If so, we are doomed.

So still do, and they vote, its the ones that stay home that I worry about.

The worst of it is how very ugly it is to think how many times "support the troops" has been cynically used to get people to shut up so the Govt could keep them out there getting killed.

When I signed the paper that pledged my body to the American War Machine I relenquished my will to the will of the military might. When my contract ended, they doropped my back into my own life and told me to deal with it. I dealt with it. I just happened to survive.
