Folks, I think its about time I go back to IE. It's been working better then FirefoxTraitor! Firefox have same feature which is not enabled by default: http://tech.cybernetnews.com/2006/03/26/this-may-help-your-firefox-memory-leak/ How can we go back to a boring "e" when we have the kick-ass swirling firey fox! clipped that Firefox tip..thx.... and am considering a move back to IE.. If only I could trust IE? pity that it's part of the OS, I believe in the separation of powers, mixing OS and browser is a mashup too far Traitor!Well, what can I do, the IE is working so fast just out of the box with no tweaking. Okay, so I have read tons of make-your-firefox-run-faster tips, but why? Hec, even the Avant browser was providing me the usual stuff I needed out of any browser. I think they better come up with Firefox 2.0 with all the necessary stuff bundled in, and I don't want to read any more digg or clipmarks stories on how to make my Firefox run fast or how to fix the memory problems, it should be fast and memory efficient on its own. There are only two reasons to use The Fox over IE, security and extensions. If neither of these matter to you, then IE7 is a good choice. It is vastly improved over IE6 |
