lullofish: on what information do you base your statement? I know plenty of cops who only use available resources out of need - when threatened, etc. I haven't read this story, but your blanket statement seems a little callous.

Sorry, you are right. But I'm really pissed. I was at dinner when I saw on TV that orrible video. Two days ago there was another killed by police, in Italy, a soccer fan. When I hear news like that, I remind when I was young, in a square in Italy with many other students and police charged us and one policeman shot a man near me and his blood was on me. Can you understand my feeling? But I know that policeman are (poor) workers like many other and, also if they are not the cavaliers I thought when I was a child, I know that many of them are good fellows. So, I think I have to apologize with them and with you.
