At least the anomalies are consistent. They're not unexplained. They just can't explain them. As far as I can see their calculations are just skimming the surface. I can't count the number of scientists who have been 'surprised' because they have taken assumptions to be facts. Absolute facts in truth are very scarce. It's clear they are making their calculations on the basis of too few facts. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing. A lot can multiply the danger. It all depends on what you don't know.

Maybe, because the calculations were so complicated, they were wrong, and the spaceships are just normal.
