It is not Gorbe that is on trial here. The article points out that Russia has a new view of the U.S. that the neocon Bush administration has provoked by their war-mongering threats, actions, policies, and present wars. This is the perception of Russia and a new Cold War has been ignited. To see the truth of this is not to erase Russia's crimes and empirical aggressions but to sound the alarm of increased global tensions provoked by this administration.

If Americans do not check the war-mongering parties in Washington (both inside and outside the government), and their British and Israeli allies, history teaches that other nations ramp up to put a stop to tyrannical empires who claim the world is theirs to conquer and police.
