Ok,just my dumb swampy opinion but...
I think any other woman might stand a better chance in this election than Hillory vs. Obama if it was a standoff.
The truth is that people have seen what the Clintons and Bushes have done for over a decade and they are grasping at the straw of change.I'm glad I can't vote.

Your comments echo an American commentator speaking on BBC radio today who opined that Obama, a black man, stands more chance of being selected than Clinton, a white woman.

I can't vote in your election but if I could it would be as a Democrat and my choice would be Obama, who is exciting, has a good personality and comes across as someone who would deliver the goods if elected, whereas Clinton, who is old school, has a way about her that smacks of: ''God, do I really have to be nice to these people''.

Anyway, not my election. Very exciting so far though so make the most of it you folks

Personally I think the media enjoy making this a race about gender and color, and those factors, while they cannot be denied, are not the only issues on our minds...Hillary is a woman, yes, but she is a woman with a husband with a past. Had her husband never been president and she was not pushing for socialized medicine...well...if Bill wasn't her husband I don't think anyone would really be too interested actually...she doesn't really have much else to offer. Anyway, I don't think Hillary can win because in the voters minds she is Bills wife and she isn't very nice...We're a simple people, we like our bullshit up front and where we can see it... the way that Bill played it. We know politics...

It will be interesting to watch, the people of NH must think differently.

Oh dear Brattypants, it is not the media that is making this election about race and gender. It is over two centuries of white male dominance of our government that is pushing the conversation. And by the way, I lived for 4 years in a European country with socialized medicine (and universal daycare, and education, and eldercare), and it was heavenly.

Excellent comment dulios. It is all about white male dominance also known as "control."

"Women Are Never Front Runners," don't you think it is time to make them front runners. I hope that the people of NH help make her (Hilary) a front runner.
