Sorry, but I wish your cat luck. :~) Those 'tree rats' drive me crazy. They chewed through my Mom's new screened in porch to get to the bird seed she had stored. Those squirrel-proof bird feeders are a great idea; but even with having one...the squirrel hangs off the side, at just the right angle, while the seed spills out on the ground. Grrrrrr.
