syncopath says: for 18 years William Wilberforce failed to bring his uncommon ideas to 'renew society' and was defeated time after time in the House of commons & in the British Parliament with his aim to abolish slave trade. He died three days after the act was passed giving freedom to all slaves in the British empire. the video is a short presentation of his story combined with some scenes from the movie "Amazing Grace". throughout history outstanding humans have stood up to encourage their fellow men to rise above that which is considered common practice and move towards a more enlightened dawn. it is inspiring and evoking a hope that also in our times we can rise and make a great change, each and all. thank you for this clip syncopath. 10x justadreamer. also a good comment can be encouraging. Success is going from failure to failure without a loss of enthusiam. Sir Winston Churchill |
