I found these pictures in a post that said they were from lightning in Durban. However, as the second person to comment, I had seen this before and recognized it for what it is. A lightning storm created from the static electricity created by volcanic eruptions. I suppose you could get the same reaction out of a dust cloud but these photos look just like an eruption to me instead of a dust storm. What do you think?
