It would transform the internet from this text based reading into a form of interactive television. Though how interactive TV can ever be is hard to tell. Will it be mostly interactive in the sense that you could, let's say, buy instantly a pair of sunglasses you see on a character in the sitcom you are watching or maybe to the point of influencing the outcome of the show (think Max Headroom). But maybe a YouTube of the future will still draw an audience.
