merrie says: NOTE: The crowd was large, diverse and very spread out. I think Wake County GOP did us all a disservice by encouraging protesters to go to the intersection of Sutton and Smallwood. There was nothing there, and many of us moved to the corner on St. Mary’s where all the action was. This isn’t about the GOP, the Republican Party hasn’t done us too many favors in recent years. Next time they try to direct Conservatives to a different protest location, I won’t listen. This was and always has been a grassroots effort… and today proved yet again that grassroots patriots are more in touch with our rights and the dangers we are protesting against. Yet Another Update (Why Not?): This post has taken some heat by a few immature commenters elsewhere online. They specifically question my use of the word “diverse” when referring to our crowd. This sickens me and is yet another example of the racism being spread on the left. Diversity is more than complexion. There were people old enough to be my grand parents and young enough to be my children. There were people who had protested before, and some who never held a protest sign in their lives. There were people who considered themselves members of every political party or no party at all. Likewise there were people of faith and likely those with none. And, if you can judge such things from visual observation… I’m sure there were people of virtually every occupation and every economic level. I’m not sure how many that protested against ObamaCare were Black, which is what critics have jumped on… but to me that is irrelevant. I don’t judge people based on the color of their skin. I suggest my friend... Maybe it’s a little early to do a post-mortem on Obama, but his popularity is sinking and the prospects of him passing any more big legislation are looking dim. He tried to destroy too much of the country too quickly. The economy, foreign affairs, the automobile industry, energy, health care — that’s far too much to destroy in one’s first couple months in office without getting people suspicious. He has four years to render America unlivable so spread it out. THE SATURN-PLUTO SQUARE ALIGNMENT The Saturn-Pluto Square Alignment, is now making its third appearance in my life. I call it the "HARD TIMES ALIGNMENT." THE SATURN-PLUTO SQUARE ALIGNMENT 1940 This was a time of a symbolic descent into Hell; the Great Depression, the Rape of Nanking, Fascism, World War II, and, most significantly, the Nuremberg Laws of Nazi Germany which judged the quality of human life. Thus, because Jews, the mentally and physically disabled, homosexuals, Jehovah Witnesses, political dissidents, etc., were classified as racially inferior, the systematic, bureaucratic, state-sponsored persecution and murder of these groups by the Nazi regime and its collaborators was sa... The world is presently on a Slippery Slope, accelerating ever more rapidly, and deeper, into the Greatest Depression ever to befall mankind. Because of limited resources, ignorance of true indebtedness, the drain of entitlements for the impoverished, the physically and mentally weak and helpless; and, for lack of what Nazi Germany referred to as Lebensraum, we're going to have to make some difficult choices very soon as to who will live and who will die. HARD TIMES REQUIRE HARD CHOICES! |
