indeed, the mystery of how crop circles are made has never been solved.

BZZZT wrong. It's been explained and admitted to many times. The correct phrasing should be "the mystery of how crop circles is too mundane for me to accept so I refuse to believe it and continue to push fanciful notions of aliens".
