Here's the link to the original local news report, including the trooper's dashcam video. Here, the trooper's attorney attempts to defend his client's action, and put the blame on the media for blowing up the situation. Now, the paramedic is calling for the officer's badge. I've listened to the attorney, I've watched the tapes. As much as want to believe that the law should be followed, even if it is in fact ultimately in the favor of the officer, I cannot help but conclude that the officer's lack of judgment displayed; his giving into his ... White should have called in for police backup to handle a rogue officer. That cop wasn't acting as a police officer, he was acting like a prick, and a bully. Once again, I fault America for not deprogramming their soldiers before they let them mingle with normal people. US Soldiers are trained to bully and murder, and if they don't take steps to train those traits out of soldiers when they return, then former soldiers are bringing those unacceptable traits into the civilian world. It's unacceptable. More American Military Irresponsibility. |
