Amazing that people take an interest in this allegorical fiction which teaches witchcraft. Is this what they want to teach their children, to be witches and wizards? Do people understand the difference between controlled imagination and "delusion" or insane fantasies? This will spawn Imitation, then behavior, then delusional thinking. It's like a hallucinogen. This is planned....to create a new generation. Propaganda that introduces ancient Druidism (who burned people alive) to the masses...to children no less, to brainwash them. Allegorical writing is the most powerful for indoctrination. In this case poison that will have consequences on all society, and is meant to set children ... blueridge, you're very clever to have strung together so many conspiracy theories into one post. Perhaps you should be a fiction author - you certainly have the talent for it. @blueridge Matthew 10:34-36 (King James Version)You say this: "meant to set children against parents" and yet look at Jesus' words above, directly from the Bible. It seems to me that you are involved in a religion that has, at its core, setting children against their parents and point blank states that. Christianity, in Jesus' own words, intends to make war and turrn chidlren against their parents. The Bible says so! blueridge, Please take that crap somewhere else. We're not interested in intolerance here. P.S. I can think of another religion whose adherents burned people alive...right here in America. Starts with Ch, ends with anity. P.S. I can think of another religion whose adherents burned people alive...right here in America. Starts with Ch, ends with anity.Christianity did not burn anyone here in America. Public executions by burning were in Europe. What about the Salem witch trials? They weren't done by the Church itself, but they were done by Christians. @seaj11 The Salem Witch Trials hysteria occurred in Salem, Massachusetts between 1692 to 1693. A total of 141 people were arrested, 19 were hanged and one was crushed to death during the Salem Witch Trials. None, were burned! What about the Salem witch trials? They weren't done by the Church itself, but they were done by Christians. They were done by Christians, AGAINST other Christians. The only one who could legitimately be called "witch" was the slave Tituba, who interestingly enough remained alive to my recollection. It was a mass hysteria that ended tragically in 20 deaths of random Christians that repressed, easily influenced teen girls picked out. "They were done by Christians, AGAINST other Christians." I never said they WEREN'T done against Christians. You know, I don't appreciate being ganged up on when I was simply trying to point out how ridiculous blueridge's assertion that HP is "Propaganda that introduces ancient Druidism (who burned people alive) to the masses...to children no less, to brainwash them" is, not least for the non sequitur mention of burning people alive. I stated clearly that it was adherents of Christianity, NOT the Church itself (and not necessarily in public executions) who burned people alive. To assert that it NEVER happened ANYWHERE here in America (which I included to point out to blueridge that such behavior did not only occur in ancient Europe) seems terribly naive. And as I mentioned, I never said Christians ... @seaj11 No one "ganged up" on you. Looking back, I see exactly two people that directed comments to you and they simply stated facts. One later comment simply said, "boniface is absolutely correct - in Salem, they were hanged. None were burned alive." Remember, "Two's company, three's a crowd" and it probably takes, at least, half a dozen for a "gang." |
