As far as I know, Vaginal delivery of a back presenting (breech) fetus might end up with its head getting entrapped thru the mother's outlet while delivery.
On the other hand, the ECV maneuver is a preferred one by many Obgyn physicians for it's low risks & gr8 outcomes, A good reason to be offered as an alternative to the cesarean.
