Their peculiarity is that, unlike any other form of life, their DNA is not neatly packed into a nucleus. Thus they can survive in extreme environs! On the one hand we have the enormous galaxies and on the other the minuscule world of atoms, electrons and what have you. We as humans are somwhere in all of that. Should make us a little more humble no? |
