gingembre says: Photos from a trip across Siberia in January 2006, when the average temperature was -60F. Just thinking of this numbing cold makes my bones ache, but the photos are lovely. Grab a cup of your favorite warm beverage and take a look at these photos of winter in Siberia. Spectacular photos gingembre. Thanks. Those Russkis are tough. If ya wanna know how tough I recommend the book Stalingrad Thanks for recommending Stalingrad, Socratoad. I will try to get the book soon. It should make good reading during this cold Canadian winter. Wow. Look at the frozen vodka! Beautiful photos. How could they go bare-chested? They must have drank much vodka before it froze. I've got the shivers........ I've seen the people who regularly punched a hole in the ice and jumped in the water. It sounded crazy, but made more sense when reminded that the water because of it's freezing point, and ice floating is 50 0r 60 degrees above the air temperature. Sure freezing point is cold for most people, but in Russia, it can be the temperature of some of the warmest parts. t would be annoying for your tongue to stick to your teeth every time you breathe in. I'm sure it's one of the reasons Russians don't have much to say. I wonder if the low temperature makes the CPU, and RAM on the laptop faster. Or if it is more likely to get frostbite. Goodness some one should do picks on sexy russian men! perferably soldiers uhhhh huh! HI gingem, the first pic looks calm and serene! tks spectacular photos. "Soviet Era artifacts sitting right near with old pagan totems of wild natives" - OK, this is reasonable. But Vodka get frozen ??? This is the end of the World !! Phénoménales ces photos!! Merci Gingembre De rien, Lifestar. Great clips gingembre and you are correct in saying grab a warm beverage.........burrr, chills me to the bone. Thanks for sharing. |
