A very smart idea. And cost effective to. They cut them power and water, bud Canada here I go... Now I heard that at home crystal meth labs use a great deal of power -- why do they always blamethe stoners? Thanks for the link, Alan. That is one spectacular setup. Ive never seen anything even close to that. I saw a home-renovation program on tv recently about a house that was used to grow pot. They bypassed the power company and got their power for nothing. They were caught, but the house was ruined. When they cut the power and all those plants die, there's nothing left to do but dry 'em out and smoke 'em. Another serious aspect to this problem is the health repercussions. Mould is #1 after-effect of houses used for growing; not only does the structure of the house get compromised, but inhabitants who buy the houses afterwards (without a clue to past uses) may develop acute respiratory illnesses. Many times, the grow-ops are located in nice, quiet, upscale neighbourhoods in an attempt to deflect police attention. And police do not maintain public listings of ex-grow-op houses. So think again before plunking down s... Clever...very clever... |
