Makes a strong point! Imagine Imagine there's no Heaven It's easy if you try No hell below us Above us only sky Imagine all the people Living for today Imagine there's no countries It isn't hard to do Nothing to kill or die for And no religion too Imagine all the people Living life in peace You may say I'm a dreamer But I'm not the only one I hope someday you'll join us And the world will be as one Imagine no possessions I wonder if you can No need for greed or hunger A brotherhood of man Imagine all the people Sharing all the world You may say I'm a dreamer But I'm not the only one I hope someday you'll join us And the world will live as one John Lennon It is rather crass and ironic that atiests would use Christmas to promote their beliefs. Or maybe they're just cheap, can't they afford a billboard? As thought the holy righteous never do such a thing. HAH! Honoradele, pleas read the article, it clearly says that the athiest were "taking advantage of a town's policy of allowing holiday-season displays". Thats using the towns poloicy, the park, or the holiday season to prote their belifes. no where does it even say the word "Christmas". So there is no irony, just a smart move not wasting money on a stupid billboard. Oh wait, there was some iriony, sorry I just noticed it. Its that durring the holdiay season, a time when many christians celebrate their religion, there is s giant poster in a park slapping them in the face. lol Did we lose a comment? I noticed there is a delete comment feature included in the new package. Interesting. Oh wait, there was some iriony, sorry I just noticed it. Its that durring the holdiay season, a time when many christians celebrate their religion, there is s giant poster in a park slapping them in the face. lolTold you so! They did an episode of South park based on that premise, and it didn't work out so well. I am not for or against, just saying that it may not guarantee our survival. |
