Since classes are held outdoors in many <A href="http://www.thefreedictionary.com/_/partner.aspx?pid=fw&set=encyclopedia&word=developing+nation" linkindex="67" set="yes">developing nations</A>, the OLPC laptop has been designed to withstand high temperatures and moisture, can be recharged by foot-pump, pull-cord, or solar power, has built-in wireless internet, and is equipped with a sunlight readable display. Governments have ordered 3 million of these $176 computers.
