Beauty is in the eye of the Beholder is a study, documentation and constructing of urban street fashion culture in Johannesburg, South Africa. It specifically looks at urban fashion around Johannesburg’s city centers and surrounding townships. Veleko uses this series of photographs to examine how people present themselves to the outside world and construct their identities.
