I can't say anything about the amount of bid/deal but I think one thing is very certain: Google needs a few more powerful and promising tools and services and Clipmarks should be definitely the first on the list. Sooner or later, I believe this deal (either with Google or Yahoo) will happen but I'm not quite sure if we'll enjoy to be the users of a big network or if we'll miss the cozyness, warmness and comfort of these days. (But for sure, we'll have four young millionaire friends in case we'll ever need to borrow some money - which is very good.

Somehow I rather prefer Clipmarks the way it is. I don't like big corps taking out the little guys and turning their innovation into bloated junk.

ghiberti, Yes Clipmarks looks like a Yahoo acquisition but Google just proved they can acquire cool stuff too.
