The San Francisco Opera had commissioned a new opera, "Il Postino," based on the science fiction tale & movie. It's world premiere was scheduled for this fall; now, because of the economic downturn, that has been indefinitely postponed.

. . . the fact is, that the news outlets are in a recession,
because they don't really report facts, they editorialize.
