I was just thinking, even if the officers did identify them selves as police as they entered the house, 1) The man was probably already standing there, gun loaded and freaked out that someone was breaking into his house. 2) He probably didn't speak much English anyway.

Why would they shoot the poor man in the groin instead of in the foot or the arm or something?
