rccgd says: I love the brand and the little detail put into each product: the Cover Flow in iTunes, the proximity sensor on the awaited iPhone, the recently featured 2-finger scrolling trackpad viewed at cnettv.com, and even the magnetic power cord. But this DRM-thing... Ok, but the music industry IS to blame for DRM. I am no fan of iTMS. How can I ? I can't even use iTunes native on GNU/Linux. But i watched the beginning very well. And the fact that iTMS has a lot of songs is not because the music industry wants, it's because they must. DRM costs Apple a lot. The have contracts with the industry that the DRM must protect the songs well. So they have to secure the software etc. I don't know if Steve Jobs mean it, or just trying to repair the bad reputation of Apple in the last year.. For me it's very clear: I don't buy DRM-Songs ! |
