 firstteam says: "Get Legal" - not that I need to "legalise" Just downloaded these programs for spreadsheet, database , presentation program, drawing program and Writer program. Going to test all of them out and have lots of fun with them. I am still using my Microsoft suite still... Hell yeah. OO 2.0 is damn good. I uninstalled my MSOffice after testing the new 2.0. I dont need Microslave Office anymore. Yes Open office is an excellent suite. It is Completely Open Source and is supported by voluntary community forums and development teams. You do need to invest the time to set up your options and you will find an extremely powerful software program. Open office.org also covers many topics that are extremely useful. May I add that it is compatible with both Microsoft, lynx , UNIX systems and conforms to international standards.. (They a were the ones that developed SOT Office which is now almost impossible to find but it can be bought on disk for 1 dollar a copy or you can get CD image files at public archives but it no longer has the support systems that continue to be offered for... Preachin' to the choir here.  |
