Disappearing into oblivion. Sometimes a few make it back for another life, but, like the ten here on this list, many have faded away only to survive on Ebay and web sites. Enjoy them here, while they last.

If Leed has been removed from the supermarket shelves of Australia, it was only recently. I won't be making any big bets on it though.

I remember being excited when Josta came out, because it was supposedly made from the guarana root--the same source as the most popular (and tasty) soft drink here in Brazil. I was sadly disappointed with the taste...and I only saw the drink on the market once.

Guess others were sadly disappointed as well.

I googled 'hand me a bubba' and this is the bubba I got...
*LOL* You can't appreciate that joke unless you are a red neck like me Alanocu!

I was thinking Tab and Jolt should be on the list
I think Tab has been reinvented as a "woman's" energy drink ala Red Bull. I've seen it at the store.

As a multi decade pepsi addict, I don't usually stray far from it...but I've never heard of this trio!

It wasn't a 'soda' but is anyone old enough to remember "Fizzies"? They were for those of us who couldn't afford Coca Colas. They were tablets you put in water and they made a fizzy drink. My favorite was root beer.

I personally don't remember anything like this Jatfa, but I just asked hubby cabanaben and what he doesn't know isn't worth knowing
He said they were given away in commodities and the flavors were root beer, creme soda, cherry, strawberry, and grape. He said root beer was the best, but only if served extremely cold

Yep! That's it. Root beer was the best. I thought it was so great. I don't remember having a 'soft drink' in WVa. Kinda' like my grandson thinks those sponge blobs that you add water to and they become sponge 'animals'!

I could never afford a soda Jatfla. Hence my addiction to them this very day. Some soft drinks I do remember were Crush Orange, Grape, and Root Beer, Dr. Pepper, Hires Root Beer, Frosty Root Beer, Nehi, Coca Cola (of course) and the bottles were always in a metal pop cooler with cold water and you took the bottle out, wiped it off with a rag, and there was a church key on the outside of the cooler which usually said Coca Cola on it painted red and white usually. My Dad used to be able to down a soda in one drink. Wow. And no wonder I have a fondness for old southern movies.

He was and of course it did. I used to get so mad when my Dad said "that was before you were a twinkle in my eye." And I don't even know why it made me angry

What about "Pepsi Free"? Marty McFly made reference to this drink in Bach to the Future I when he is asked what he wanted to drink at the diner in 1955....

It wasn't very tasty.....

Slice.......WOW!
