Actually, I'm pretty sure my niece would definitely pay more attention to this over the original comic. It is strange seeing them "modernized" though, haha.

Maybe they should have been the offspring of the original cast? To make it really true to modern life, some would be illegitimate, half would come from broken homes, someone would be a heavy drug user and one would be anorexic, or something similar. Or maybe that would be too realistic?

I hate to admit it, but I've always hated the look of Archie. It's a visual style that I just never connected with.

That said, the update above is not worth the effort. They look like cardboard cutout "my bratz".

Apparently this isn't the first time Archie Comics has shit on Dan DeCarlo, the guy who gave Archie & pals the look they had since the 1950s.
