valann 47 says: where can I get pretty covers cheap, for our furniture, any ideas folks? I have one small sofa in the living room and an easy chair that my sons dog is allowed on. She's not allowed on any of his furniture because of her allergies. She sometimes smells real bad and the smell gets on the furniture. I let her on mine because I let my dog on everything so it's only fair and she is so sweet. As for furniture covers I use bed sheets. They look nice and you can pin and tuck them in place. I wouldn't dare tell my dog to keep off the furniture or bed! She would make me suffer forever! I get very large "throwovers" for my stuff but she just pulls them off so don't know why I bother! Where do you get your throw overs from Shaor? Tanyamm I know I spoil my dogs to bits but they really don't like cotton sheets and the flannel ones I've seen the colours aren't rich enough, I love them deep and warm and so do the dogs but I don't like the colours of the pet blankets. I know I'm a pain!. I buy thow overs from either wall mart, winners, or army and navy. they are cheap and you can pin them on or tuck them in . I sewed some velcro so I just 'attach' when I need to. If a big sofe then join 2 together. thanks. I really like your idea shaor, but I'm on such a tight budget. I use sheets that family gave me. I use hand-me-down sheets on my bed too. Thank you both of you, I'm now going to keep my eyes open for blankets, they are usually colourful and warm. I might even get some ideas on what colour paint to use for the front room. |
