Rather than nuke the holiday, Columbia University ignores it. That is, Columbia simply wishes Columbus Day would go away. The only recognition of the day is a free barbecue thrown by the College Republicans.

I'd like to know how a campus that detests Columbus justifies giving a forum to Iranian madman Mahmoud "I'm-a-nut-job."

Go figure. Maybe a leftist could answer that question seeing how some of them have a love affair with that crazy wanker in Iran.

Had Columbus never set foot in the West, Columbia University would never have been created.
