Francis Bacon -painting

Francis Bacon abstract art acrylic paintings.

Bacon's work frustrates me; there is a side, a style to him that blows my doors off when it presents. Its only revealed in about 15-20% of his work but man, when its there...masterful.

I actually like these quite a bit. There's a lot of art that I'd never hang on my wall (assuming I could afford it), but I like this - not too dark and it doesn't creep you out - great colors, interesting shapes, and the images of human faces are pleasant. Great find dakotayii!

@dgreplay.I was stunned when I came across the van Gogh studies a few years ago; made me rethink Bacon and am now a big fan.
